Based in Ticino, Metal Glass Sagl was founded in 2013 out of an entrepreneurial idea conceived by Florio Libera, the company’s technical director.

Backed by thirty years’ experience in the sector, Florio Libera has important partnerships with leading companies in the engineering sector, and has worked on the realisation of internationally famous building projects.

Metal Glass Sagl expanded its business very quickly to become a prominent company in Switzerland thanks to the quality of its work, collaborating with key names in the sector such as Stahlbau Pichler. The latter has worked with international renowned architects such as Renzo Piano, Zaha Hadid Architects, Massimiliano Fuksas, David Chipperfield Architects, and Foster + Partners.

All the Metal Glass Sagl staff constantly follow SUVA safety courses.

Its employees have IPAF licences for the use of self-lifting machines and crane operator licences for the use of machines to lift material and glass, in addition to certification from the necessary courses for the use of category 3 PPE.

The company has its own vehicles for transport of personnel and manual equipment.

For lifting work, the company hires the machinery and equipment best suited to each project from highly specialised suppliers.

In addition to constant refresher courses for its personnel, enabling overhead work to be carried out without the need for scaffolding, Metal Glass Sagl also uses specialist electronic equipment for tracing levels and lines, enabling significant savings in terms of time.

We set up on-site portacabins for office and warehouse use to suit site logistics and best meet client needs, in compliance with the safety standards in force.
